Sleep apnea is a condition where breathing stops repeatedly and causes disrupted sleep. If untreated, it can lead to hypertension, type 2 diabetes, and cardiac issues. You can be notified if signs of sleep apnea are detected and receive a report that helps you navigate conversations with your healthcare provider.

Listen to your heart. With the ECG app, Apple Watch Series 10 is capable of generating an ECG similar to a single‑lead electrocardiogram.⁷ And with the Heart Rate app, you can get notifications for high and low heart rate as well as an irregular rhythm.
